1. Standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.

2. Measures taken

  • Pages use meaningful headings in a logical order and landmark regions for navigation.
  • All controls can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and the focus indicator stays visible.
  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
  • Form fields have permanent visible labels, and errors are announced in text rather than color alone.
  • Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Color combinations are chosen for contrast, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to small screen widths.
  • The expanding service panels and the cookie banner report their state to assistive technology.
  • Motion and transitions are reduced automatically when the operating system requests reduced motion.

3. Known limitations

Some areas may still fall short of our target:

  • Photographs of past projects are described briefly; detailed descriptions of every site condition are not provided.
  • Content or maps served by third parties may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, and we do not control how they are built.
